Your information

Saskatchewan's Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) governs how health information is handled here. This website does not collect, store or transmit personal health information. There is no form on this site that asks about your health.

Do not send personal health information through this website. Use the booking platform or call the office.

Booking & records

Booking happens inside Medeo, and clinical records are kept inside Accuro — the electronic medical record. Both are built for health information and governed by HIPA. Neither this website nor its hosting has any access to what is stored in either system.

Own instance or shared

Accuro licence shared with a neighbouring nurse practitioner for holiday and sick cover only. Bookings, records and business are kept separate.

What we collect through this site

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no cookie, and no form that transmits anything to us.

Contact

There is no contact form on this site, by decision — a form is the single most likely way someone accidentally sends health information into an unsecured channel. Contact is by phone, or by a plain mailto: link for non-clinical questions (admin and billing only). See contact details.

Analytics & tracking

None. No analytics of any kind, no cookies, and no third-party requests of any kind on any page — including the pages that link to booking. Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from Google, specifically so that visiting this site does not tell a third party that someone was researching a palliative care clinic.

The one exception is deliberate and requires your action first: the map on the Contact page can load an embedded Google map, but only after you press "Show the map". Nothing is requested from Google before that click.

Reviews & testimonials

Checked with CRNS practice advice (practiceadvice@crns.ca) — settles whether testimonials or Google reviews may appear on this site at all. Neither is shown until that is confirmed. The practice is accountable for everything this site and its social media pages say, regardless of who wrote or posted it, and advertising must avoid claims of superiority over other providers.

This website provides general information about Prairie Haven NP Clinic. It is not a substitute for a medical appointment, and nothing on it should be read as advice about your specific situation.

Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA: colour contrast checked (not eyeballed) throughout, full keyboard access with a visible focus style and a skip-to-content link, headings in a logical order, layout that reflows down to a 320px-wide screen, and every animation disabled automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

Anything on this site that does not yet meet the standard, and when we will fix it. If there is nothing, we say “None currently identified” and give the date we last checked.

Tell us if something doesn't work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please phone the clinic at accessibility contact number and say so. You will not be asked to explain your reasons. We would rather fix a problem than have anyone struggle with it, and will respond with either a fix or an alternative way to get the same information.
